Short Term Program:

Solar Photovoltaic Professional Program (PV Solar)
45 theory clock hours, 35 lab hours / Tuition and fees are $3,000
The Solar Photovoltaic Professional program allows new professionals in the industry to take a third party verified, intensive coverage of the skill set needed to be a successful solar PV installation professional. This program combines theory-based lectures and hands-on installation labs. This training covers Photovoltaic (PV) fundamentals, residential and commercial design, and National Electrical Code regulations as they pertain to solar PV requirements. Students will prepare and sit for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Entry Level exam, towards earning the NABCEP Certificate of Knowledge.

The program curriculum satisfies the requirements needed to obtain employment and/or career advancement. This program prepares students for employment as a Solar Photovoltaic Installer. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment change between 2012 and 2020 is projected to increase 24% greater than the annual average.

Brookline College Continuing Education and Training Courses:

Nursing Assistant (Phoenix, AZ, Tempe, AZ and Albuquerque, NM Campuses)
The purpose of the Brookline Nursing Assistant program is to provide individuals with an educational program leading to an entry-level position in the field of health care. The on-campus and online courses in our Nursing Assistant program provide students with the requisite theory and skills to become competent, safe nursing assistants. The program meets or exceeds all requirements for nursing assistant programs as identified by the Arizona State Board of Nursing. Graduates who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the Arizona State Board of Nursing certification examination for nursing assistants. The program consists of three courses, a classroom course, a laboratory course, and a clinical course totaling 146 hours. The classroom course requires 77 hours and focuses on the acquisition of foundational knowledge that is needed to provide patients with basic nursing care. The laboratory component consists of 29 hours and teaches clinical skills in a manner that allows students to apply knowledge learned in the classroom. The final course is a 40 hour clinical experience which provides students an opportunity to apply acquired knowledge and skills during hands-on experiences within an acute and/or long-term care setting.

Medical Interpreter (Phoenix and Tempe Campuses)
This course provides essential knowledge and skills necessary to perform Spanish to English medical interpretation. Specifically, the lessons present vocabulary, grammatical structures, logistics of the profession, and cultural information to help health care professionals understand and communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and clients.

Students who successfully complete the 40-hour course are eligible to sit for the Medical Interpreters certification examination from the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters.
