Graduates with Associate degrees in Criminal Justice will be prepared for entry-level positions across a range of civil and law enforcement functions within corrections, private security, juvenile law enforcement and criminal investigation, among many others. Due to the nature of corrections and law enforcement in the United States, qualified and educated criminal justice specialists will continue to be in demand in the future.  According to the O*Net Resource Center, the nation’s primary source for occupational information, students who graduate with Associate degrees in Criminal Justice are able to pursue positions such as Security Guards, Retail Loss Prevention Specialists, Correctional Officers or Jailers.
