What will you learn at Brookline?
The MA Program provides the necessary training for entry-level positions as a medical assistant in a clinic, physician’s office or urgent care facility. As a student you will study topics that include: terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medical assisting and pharmacology and laboratory practice, among other courses. Our medical labs contain congruent materials and equipment that you may use on the job. Our program includes an externship where you will have the opportunity to experience the Medical Assistant profession first hand, working closely with patients, doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel.
Upon graduation, you will have the foundation to contribute to your employer in the areas of:

They will also be able to appropriately assess patient/client situations and intervene within their scope of practice.
