Dave Cox

Veteran Employee Spotlight

A native of Spokane, Washington, Dave enlisted in the Air Force out of high school. He started as a musician in the Air Force and soon after made his first deployment. After, Dave returned to the Air Force as the NCOIC of the Crisis Action Team at Andrew’s Air Force Base, Washington D.C. during Hurricane Katrina efforts. Following another deployment, Dave was sent to Arizona to act as NCOIC of Operations and Logistics during Operation Jump Start at the National Guard Headquarters in Phoenix and soon after became Battle Captain of the J3 and J4 sections. With multiple deployments, leadership and management roles and supervision of over 18,000 Soldiers and Airmen during his military tenure, Dave was officially retired from the Air Force in 2010 but continued to work with the Air Force and Army intermittently until 2012. Since his retirement, Dave has become a multiple business owner, card-holding Golf Professional and advocate for Suicide Prevention for Veterans.

Currently, Dave is a tenured Admissions Representative in the Online Nursing Department and is finishing his Masters of Science in Leadership and Management and is very excited about completing yet another degree! He is looking forward to the continued growth of Brookline College and the Nursing Department and is proud to be a part of the Brookline College family!
