Medical billing and coding professionals analyze, organize, and evaluate health insurance claim forms and handle coding of diagnosis, surgeries, medical procedures, and therapies for billing. They review records, calculate charges, prepare statements and ensure that claims are submitted. Brookline College’s MIBC program provides the training needed for entry-level positions in physician’s offices, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, long-term care facilities, physical therapy practices and other health care providers.
