Upon completion of the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, graduates will contribute to the areas of:

Clinicals

Do I have to complete a clinical?

  • Practice experiences are woven throughout the courses and can often be accomplished on the job, at your workplace. This means you will have professional clinical experiences, but will not experience clinical rotations like you did when you went to school to become a nurse.
What Is It Like Taking an Online Course?

If you have never taken an online course before and you’re a little nervous, that’s ok. We will help you prepare for online classes.

Brookline has several resources that can help you become acclimated to the online classroom. Your admissions representative can provide a personal tour of the online environment in which you will be taking classes and help you understand what you can expect when you log into your first class.

How Often Will I Go To Class?
There are no mandatory login times. Most classes require that you login two to three times per week. Check the course syllabus for information specific to your class.

What Are The Course Requirements?
­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­As noted in syllabi for each course include scholarly papers, analysis of learning through case studies experiences, or PowerPoint presentations uploaded to a learning management system. There are discussion questions that create dialogue among classmates based on articles, topics, or assigned reading; all assignments graded with posted rubrics.

Admissions
Admissions Requirements

New students are enrolled six times per year.

  • All that’s required is a current RN license approved by your state or Associates Degree in Nursing from an institution recognized by the Department of Education.
  • Application for admission and an interview with a Brookline Admissions Representative.
Admission Process

Seven Simple Steps …

  1. Connect with a Brookline Admissions Representative by either submitting your contact information (Request Info) or calling (844) 769-0004.
  2. Attend a live, or virtual, planning session which includes both career and academic goals with an authorized Admissions Representative.
  3. Submit your state approved RN license in the U.S. or in a jurisdiction that is an associate member of the NCSBN.
  4. Submit official transcripts from each college or university you have attended or are currently attending.
  5. Complete a financial aid interview to develop a financial plan.
  6. Complete the Enrollment Agreement with an Admissions Representative to include collecting all necessary documentation.
  7. Meet with the Director of Education, or an appropriate Department Director to discuss any unusual enrollment circumstances or accommodations needed to successfully complete the program.

Upon completion of the admissions requirements, you will be notified by your Brookline Admissions Representative on your status.
