My educational research, publications, presentations, and programs are focused on ‘Student-Centered Strategies for Success’ to prepare all students specifically the diverse, underrepresented, and disadvantaged students for the academic challenges of a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and to employ strategies to increase retention in the nursing major, graduate, and pass the NCLEX-RN® licensing exam as first time candidates and enter the workforce as culturally competent nurses. The second phase of the Strategies for Success initiatives have been to assist nurses in advancing their education and again employ strategies for working nurse as the nurse advances in their education to the MSN and Doctoral degrees.
Strategies for Success is focused on student challenges to be successful, College students today are balancing school with everyday life challenges. At Brookline College, it is our goal to have a virtual up-to-date student resource center to assist you in overcoming the challenges that you individually are encountering. As part of that commitment to student success, we have introduced this web application so that our nursing students have convenient and direct access to the resources they need to be successful in their chosen programs.
We hope that you find the information contained here useful and wish you success as you pursue your career goals. The Deans of Nursing of each of the respective programs, coordinators, faculty, staff, and administration at Brookline College are here to help you in your success!
